Our Services
Psychoeducational Assessment
At clrPSYCH, we provide in-depth psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents experiencing challenges related to school, behaviour, and/or mental health. The goal of a psychoeducational assessment is to answer questions concerning issues related to cognitive, intellectual, academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioural functioning. This is generally accomplished through standardized testing, informal testing, interviews, questionnaires, observations, and review of previous records or reports.
This process provides a clear roadmap of your child's strengths and needs. With specific recommendations for students, families, and school staff, it delivers vital information for accessing necessary accommodations and special education services. Ultimately, through this process we aim to help your child understand their learning style and build the confidence to advocate for themselves throughout their educational journey.

Counselling
We also offer compassionate counselling services to help youth and teens explore their mental health and well-being. In a safe, private space, they can discuss their thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and relationships, including concerns related to social media and cyberbullying.
We utilize proven methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to provide practical tools. We specialize in supporting teens experiencing anxiety, depression, as well as stress from school, social, or academic pressures.
Our specialized approach empowers youth and parents to navigate school, social skills, relationships, and family dynamics with confidence.
Consultation
We partner with organizations to strengthen your ability to support youth and teens. Our consultation services focus on key needs for young people: self-regulation, attention, behaviour, social-emotional functioning, and at-risk behaviours. We provide specialized training and presentations on topics like learning disabilities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety.
To ensure a thorough approach, we offer reviews of files and assessments, and facilitate parent-teacher interviews and case conferences. We equip you with the expertise needed to effectively support every young person.

Clinical Supervision
We also offer clinical supervision and training in both assessment and intervention, essential for developing competence in school and counselling psychology. When providing clinical supervision, our focus is on enhancing professional effectiveness through observation, in-depth case discussions, document reviews, and ongoing consultation.
These services are provided in accordance with the Standards of Professional Conduct outlined by the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
